The Nintendo 2DS is a handheld gaming device developed as an entry level version of the Nintendo 3DS with nearly identical hardware, but without the 3D upper screen function.

2DS Volume Slider Not Working

I have a 2DS that's stuck on max volume. The first time I took it apart to fix the issue, the problem was that the plastic volume slider was loose and physically detached from the actual component on the motherboard, just like in this tutorial. I fixed that issue and the volume slider is now aligned, but when I adjust the slider, the volume still doesn't change.

Hi!

Can you put the volume slider to the lowest volume level and build it together?

If that isn't working as well (then you can say for sure it's there), you might want to replace it...

Soldering is required to get it replaced.

I think this one should fit: Amazon.com: Create idea 2pcs Game Consoles Volume Slider Switch Compatible with New 3DS 2DS XL LL Console : Video Games

Please let me know if you have any question!

Thanks!
