My car is not recognizing the key. Is my only key
The chip on my key is not working. Can I turn on my car without the key? It rotates but it doesn't turn on.

No it won't start as the control module needs information from the key to know that it is the correct one and not just another key that fits the ignition.
You could try reprogramming the key to see if that works.
If not, it may be problem with the key sensor module in the car.
