How to turn a old phone into a mini phone

i have a old samsung s6 edge and i planned a lot of stuff to make it a small phone but idk where to get a small phone display because i didn't want to spend like 30$ on it because i also have to buy the battery and maybe some other stuff if i broke something in the process, so is there are some good alternatives
