My phone is overheating

@senior32149 Heat = short circuit. If nothing happened to your phone that may have caused a short circuit i.e. water damage etc. then this can be caused by a bad battery or faulty charging board. I would suggest that you replace the battery first then re-evaluate.

Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for this phone, use something like this video Replacement batteries are readily available at many online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
