My laptop won’t turn on what can I do?

My laptop won’t turn on unless it’s connected to the charger and with out it it’s only a black screen and it also stays at the same battery life 35-40%

@justinmuno31398 I suggest you start off with a new battery. If a new battery does not resolve it then you will have to check the charging circuit and the power rail on your motherboard.

Use the IdeaPad 3 Chrome 14M836 Hardware Maintenance Manual to work on your laptop. Your battery should be a L20M3PG2 and those are readily available at many online stores for not a lot of money :-)
