Is this the stick drift or something else?

Hey,

couple days ago my controller starts to behave wierd, when playing my character tend to go to left, i told myself its classic stick drift so i increased the dead zone value form 15% to 20%, did not help so i increased it further even to 90%... still didnt help (btw 90% dead zone is almost unplayable)

the problem is with the left stick, when i dont touch it its okey but lets say i move forward a bit it somehow activates the issue and when i stop i just go to left and keep going to left

i never had stick drift issues before but i imagined i will be nonstop moving to the drifted direction, this feels a different to what i imagined, did this happend to some of you? is there a solution?

Hi!

This does sound like stick drift and thus the joysticks need to be replaced to get it working again.

Which Playstation controller is having issues at the moment? Dualshock 4, or Dualshock 4, or the Dualsense? Thanks!

well i use AimController, its not developed by play station but it uses the play station joysticks

Alright, then I would replace the joysticks completely. You can use the Gulikit ones on iFixit or the Hall effect ones. Be aware that soldering IS required to accomplish the task. Please let us know how it goes!

Can't find any guides so far... Can you share a picture regarding the controller? And is it a aimcontroller for the PS5? Thanks!
