Backlight diffuser is cracked

I recently got one and the backlight diffuser is cracked. I tried searching online and can't find another model nearby I can get as a donor. Does anyone possibly know the part number? I've torn it apart and can confirm its the common issue with these tvs. There was another post about this but it didn't get much feedback, and was wondering if maybe anyone knew a part number or if a generic diffuser sheet custom cut would work? All the backlights themselves work fine. Unable to upload a photo at the moment but its bright on the edges with bright lines coming off the edge, and dark in the middle.

@tvlover4782 that is interesting. I have not come across any that were cracked. I've had deformed ones from heat and moisture but never cracked. Yes, you can always try and fit one from any other panel (that has the same dimension). You can even search for diffuser sheets (enter your dimensions needed). I think I've seen them before on Alibaba.

The way it was described by the repair shop was that it was cracked by the heat of the LEDs, that it melted it and it cracked. Do you think a generic diffuser sheet cut to the same dimensions would look almost identical to the original? Additionally, I'd still need to get the dimensions if you happen to know of any place I can get it. Looking up the service manual or looking for it on Google shows multiple different results, including for products not even related to this TV.

@tvlover4782 you most likely will not find it by the TV service manual or even the TV model number. This is based on whoever build the LCD panel. Take your Samsung TV for example. Samsung outsources LCD production to places like TCL CSOT. Then there is also a possibility that it could be an AU Optronics and Innolux panel who in the past have supplied LCD Panels to Samsung.

You would need to know exactly who build that panel and then look for diffuser sheets via that panel number.

In general, any LCD TV diffuser sheet of identical dimensions will work without difficulty.
