laptop resetting after clicking shut down hardware problem?

Had this problem with most OS's/distros tried mint, fedora, arch after clicking shutdown or typing in any command it rests the laptop same problem happens with windows 11 after turning fast startup off it fully resets instead of shutting down so is not an OS problem but a hardware problem?

PS: after clicking shutdown in any Linux disto the trackpad inverts and sometimes won't even work till I hard shutdown with clicking the power button for a few seconds but that doesn't apply with windows, might be the trackpad?
