WhatsApp preparation process gets stuck before starting to transfer process from Samsung to iPhone 16. Any help?

If WhatsApp transfer is stuck at “preparing” when moving from Samsung → iPhone 16, try this sequence:
1. Update apps:
On Samsung: WhatsApp latest version from Google Play.
On iPhone: WhatsApp latest version from App Store.
On iPhone: also update Move to iOS app.
2. Check requirements:
iPhone must be new or factory-reset.
Both phones connected to the same Wi-Fi, and plugged into power.
WhatsApp number on Samsung must match the SIM/number on iPhone.
3. Free space: Ensure iPhone has more storage than the WhatsApp backup size on Samsung.
4. Clear cache (Android): Settings → Apps → WhatsApp → Storage → Clear Cache. Restart.
5. Retry Move to iOS transfer: During iPhone setup, select Move Data from Android → use Move to iOS → choose WhatsApp data.
6. If still stuck:
Remove WhatsApp from iPhone.
Re-install, and during login pick Move Chats from Android.
If it hangs again, back up chats to Google Drive, then use third-party transfer tools (iCareFone, MobileTrans).
