kitchen sink disconnected spray faucet

Bob, there are a LOT of different kinds of faucets on the market so it's very difficult to diagnose issues without knowing what you're working with.

I realize that model and manufacturer information is hard to come by on a faucet, but anything you can add may help. Is there a manufacturer's name or logo anywhere on the faucet? You might add some pictures of the faucet itself and whatever you can view under the sink, especially if you can get to where the spray faucet attaches to it.
