What is the model number of the refrigerator?

If the drain hole is blocked then the water from the ice that is formed on the evaporator unit is melted during the auto defrost cycle has no where to go and builds up and flows back inside the refrigerator, rather than flowing down through the hole to the evaporator pan, underneath near the compressor motor.

Have you tried clearing the blocked drain hole and checked if water can flow to the evaporator pan? Is the drain pipe blocked at the top under the evap unit or at the bottom above the evap pan?
