Want to assess if my TV has really a problem...

Hello to everyone, hope you can help assessing if there is a real problem with my TV or is a matter of resetting something...

About two weeks ago I was watching it, when all of a sudden the three main colours flashed on then the screen (one after the other) and then the screen went dark!

The only sign of being alive where sounds when I would change the "source", I shot it down. The next day I tried to restart it but there was no response, only the "ready" light changing intensity when ever I would press one of the remote buttons. After that I attempted to a few more times to "restart it", but now even the remote was not working (the "ready" light, was now off too!)

At this point, I'm going to check in "search" if anybody else has had this kind of problem and post this message if I don't find anything. Thanks to all!
