Press and hold the left and right arrow keys (both together) on the control display until you hear a beep.
Release both keys and then press the circle key (between the two arrow keys) to deactivate cooling mode (aka demo mode)

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe theres a way to fo a factory reset, or in the settings there may be a cooling off mode that you can turn off. Have you tried searching for a YouTube video or reading the manual?
