Overloaded Washing Machine after-effects
I chose the wrong washing programme which overloaded my Panasonic front-loading washing machine which caused a clunking sound for the duration of the spin for 1 minute. There were very light, slow fumes coming out for 5 seconds when I opened the door.
After that when I run the machine, it squeaks during the normal rotation of the drum and heavily squeaks during the spin cycle so I stopped the spinning immediately. I hear squeaky sounds when I push the drum by hand but only when it starts to spin or comes to a halt - not when it has momentum. What happened and what should be done about it?
I contacted a few third-party repair service providers who outright called for a drum replacement. Help me diagnose the issue properly.
