full shell swap, no LCD, then no power

I did a full shell swap on my switch, but after turning it on to test it, the display was just black with the backlight on. I could tell it was booted as the touchscreen was working and it was making sound through the speakers

I thought that the display connector was lose so I disconnected the battery ad reconnected it with a bit more force, but after re-connecting everything, nothing happens. no sounds, controllers not connecting, and the CPU isn't making heat. I have the battery unplugged to prevent further damage.

Looks like something shorted out and it could be a lot of things...

First, I would apply some paste again on the heatstink!

Second, please look for screws that are missing or fell

Third, Please tripple check if everything is connected properly. Also, don't forget the backshield.

In the worst case, the motherboard is shorted out or damaged and need to be replaced or advanced repair.

Also, the screen could be broken or the cable causing the no screen issue.

If possible, you can always ask a local repair shop to find any shorts on the motherboard.
