Bosch 500 Fridge Water Dispenser Acting Up...

Hello! I have a Bosch B36CD50SNS that's out of warranty and the water/ice dispenser flap/arm is sticking once engaged and not releasing. I'm finding very few resources online that would point to the culprit. My instincts from repairs over the years on other brands would be a detached spring or a broken section of whatever plastic framing takes the brunt of daily use. I haven't been able to find info on how to remove the cosmetic covers of the dispenser to gain access, and I'm apprehensive about jumping in with a putty knife or flathead not knowing how it's held in place. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated... Thanks in advance!
