How to stop my msi thin gf63 pc from overheating?

The pc started getting lower fps because it overheates mostly in the fan area. I have cleaned the fan and the pc still overheates. Can anyone help?

Have you tried changing thermal paste? It should be changed every 3/4 years

For instructions on how to do it on this laptop see How to change thermal paste

Nope I didn't change the thermal paste. I forgot to mention that when I boot my pc I hear the fan touching something.

Try using a cooling pad, repasting the CPU/GPU, updating BIOS/drivers, and adjusting fan curves in MSI Center to reduce overheating and improve FPS.
