The Samsung Galaxy A52s is Samsung's upgraded variation of the Galaxy A52.

What are these contacts called and how to replace them?

I tried to repair my phone. Its a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5g. This is the third time my phone is not able to charge because apperently it is too cold (It does not charge if it measured a too cold temperature. The sensor reading is wrong as i found out by checking the measured value). The defect sensor is on the daugter board. Thats why i wanted to replace it again. Then i noticed that one contact the board connects to on the frame was loose. It was some kind of tiny plate. Its the golden contact i highlighted in the picture. Would that be a problem? Because after the switch to a new daugter-board charging still does not work for the same reason. If it is how can i replace it? I cannot find a place to buy contact pads like that. How are these attached normaly? Are they glued?

So as @oldturkey03 wrote it was the main flex cable. My phone works again now after i swapped it too. The contact pad was not needed. I just left it out and my phone still works without issues. Not even any problems with the wifi as he suggested could happen.

@kenedikt Great Job fixing it! Glad it all worked out okay.

@kenedikt those are terminal connectors like this This particular one is part of the antenna connector. Samsung uses about 7 different connectors on your phone so we would need to see it in a close up. Not sure if they are soldered or glued but look at your daughterboard and see of you have those on there. It is not related to your "too cold temperature"

Since you have already changed the daughter board and still get the same error, I suggest that you change the Main flex cable which comes from the daughter board to the Main board. After that, replace the battery, but do that last. A failed flex cable is the more common issue.

Hello, Thank you for your answer. The example you provided is a contact like it is on the daughter board. On the frame there are these tiny pads. Is it a problem if this one is gone?

I will try the flex cable next, thanks! But i am worried that i will have other issues now because of the lost pad?

@kenedikt since that is for the antenna you may (or may not) have issues with WiFi etc since there will be co contact from the antenna to the main board. Let me see if I can find out which antenna this is.

Do you know if it is possible to buy those contacts? If yes where? I was not able to find them.

@kenedikt are you referring to the terminal connectors or the plates they make contact with? Do us a favor. Take another picture but this time close up and well focused on where the contact sits that you are missing. Let's see if we can figure this out :-)

Alright i added some more pictures. I am not able to zoom in any further with my camera, sorry for that. You can see that in the spot i marked in the first picture (screenshoted video) there is a contact. That is missing in my pictures.
