How to replace power cord?

The black cord seems to be hard wired into the switch. How to separate and replace just the cord?

@alienamerican looks like the power cord is available without the switch. That would mean that it is somehow possible to remove the cable from the switch. I wonder if there is a push connector on the switch for the cable. Post some good pictures of your switch etc. with your Question. That way we can see what you see and hopefully come up with a solution. Adding images to an existing question

@alienamerican what a PITA. I absolutely dislike when they make things so complicated. Yes, it does look like it comes out. The trigger seems to operate some sort of lever that moves the contacts on the inside of the switch. Honestly, at this point I would just cut the wires, solder the new power cord to the tails and apply some heat shrink tubing for insulation.
