Hi @lesseal

Does the laptop's HDMI work OK if the laptop is connected to another device e.g. TV?

The user manual for the laptop isn't specific as to which ones are used but have you tried pressing the appropriate Function key(s) (F1-F12) on the laptop to extend the display from the laptop screen to the external monitor e.g. TV or projector etc? It is usually marked with an image of a screen (rectangle). Sometimes you may have to press it and the Fn key at the same time to get it to work

Check if the latest graphics drivers are installed.

Go to Device Manager > Display Adapter > right click on the Intel UHD graphics entry > Update drivers and follow the prompts.

You need to be online for this to work

To get to Device Manager in Win10/Win11 press the Win key + x key (both together) and click on the Device Manager link in the menu box.

If the drivers are the latest version it may be a hardware problem. Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually inspect the laptop's HDMI port connector and check that there are no bent, broken or missing pins.

If the HDMI port connector is OK (and not loose) there's a problem on the motherboard. Unfortunately I cannot find the schematics for the board, you may have better luck.
