Finding the correct model battery
Hello,
I am trying to repair the battery of my wife macbook air. I do not understand which battery model I need to buy since this one: MacBook Air 13" (Late 2018-Early 2020) Battery is talking about late 2018 and she bought it in May 2018. Is that correct? Should I aim for the 2017 model? I couldn't even find the mode name in the settings.
(sorry for the bad quality of the screenshots 😇)
Thanks for your help.

The laptop should have a A**** Number on the case. Probably the back in tiny writing. Search for the A number replacement battery or open it up. The battery has its own A number so you'll know which one you need.

Model Number of the 2018-2020 MBA is A1932.
2017 (A1466) models are completely different in every way.

@livfe - The A (or EMC) number isn't always the best reference as Apple also defines their Batteries with a A number that is not a one to one relationship with the given system. And some systems can be labeled with an A number but don't share batteries or other parts. Don't shoot the messenger here! Shoot Apple!
