Why Wont My ROG Ally Z1 Turn On?

so around the weekend of the 4th of July my rog stopped charging and wouldn’t charge with the base charger, so after it dies that time I couldn’t charge it since then and it has no led indicator turning on when plugged in with the base charger, I’ve contacted rog support and all i get is Indians with broken enlighten accents that dont help at all(not tryna be racist), i opened it up and it didn’t look like anything at all was wrong, the charger is fine too, charges my phone and iPad, and i never yanked on it or pulled hard sideways on it, please help! I dont wanna spend 60$ on it just for them to tell me that it was the battery at ubreakifix,

Hi mate,

I'm sure it's annoying not being able to use this thing cause it seems pretty fun. Given the warranty is out, you'll want to check the charging port isn't clogged with debris as just the other day my phone was having the same issue of not charging. Ended up getting an old toothbrush & removing all the dust out of the port.

Anyways, if you have checked & the port looks flawless, it might be some IC (integrated circuit aka chip) that has faulted due to some unknown reason. If that's the case then you'll have to get a repair shop to take a look at it unless you have the knowledge & tools to undertake microsoldering on your own personal device, which is tricky at the best of times.

If the port isn't flawless that'd be the best case here as that would be a simple port replacement assuming nothing else is wrong. that'd require microsoldering BUT at least it won't require extra troubleshooting to some faulted capacitor.

voce sabe usar um multimetro?, caso sim voce pode verificar a tensão de sainda da bateria, pois teu equipamento e bem complexo como tal um computado e notebooks e quando temos esse tipo de problema podem ser varias coisas causando o problema ...

mais uma coisa, teu aquipamento e bem mais forte que um celular entao a tua fonte pode esta com problemas de chaveamento eu assim não estar liberando a potencia que o equipamento pede e assim não carrega, vc pode testar com outro equivalente ( talvez uma loja so pra fazer o teste mesmo )

como estava a saude da bateria antes dele falecer? as vezes pode ser que ela tenha entrado em curto e assim o equipamento entra em proteção mas geralmente esse tipo de defeito ve com sintomas de perda de rendimento e reinicializaçoes aleatorias
