if i turn on my new nintendo 3ds after a few seconds (max 20-30s if i’m lucky) the screen completely freezes on a frame and the only thing i can do is to reset it because no other button responds. i can’t update the system because of this issue and i don’t know how to fix it

First of all, I would try to go into the recovery menu!
Hold down the L, R, Up (on the D-pad), and A buttons while powering it on.
This should launch the "Recovery Menu".
Can you update from here and see how that goes?
Also, is the 3DS modded?

it opened the sistem update menu (i don’t know if that’s the recovery menu because my 3ds is not in english), i tried once again to update the console and it froze once again before fully updating. i also tried to update the console without the sd card but i nothing changed.
it is not modded
the version i have now is the 11.9.0-42E if that’s any help

Does everything work in the recovery menu? Do you have sound and do the camera's work? It's most likely a motherboard issue. I would try it a few time and see how for you can get. It's worth a try. If it's not working at all, you need to open it up and inspect the motherboard!
