Hi!

Could be many things...

How is the AV port? Still looking good? Can also be the CPU or a short on the board.

Do you have any soldering experience?

@dan0 the multi out AV port has rust on the top but the pins look fine, and i have a little bit of experience with soldering

Alright, should not be a issue. Can you share some pictures with us? Regarding the AV port but also regarding the motherboard? My feelings are telling that it's the motherboard... CPU or something...

Hi!

Thanks for the pictures!

First of all, I would clean the AV port completely with isopropyl alcohol and see how that goes.

It is modded, you can try to unmod the PS1 and see how that goes!

If both failed, it's most likely GPU related... But before we jump to that, I would try the above.

i cleaned the av port and still got no video and audio, the ps1 was modded so i unmodded it but i still got no video and audio, where do i get a new GPU chip?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Yeah, something on the motherboard did die... It's very hard to get those IC's. The only way is to get it from a broken/donor motherboard. Sorry..

@dan0 alright, i will keep the motherboard in case i need parts for my other 2 Playstation 1's, thanks for the advice :D

My pleasure! That’s probably the best thing to do now! Have a nice day and take care!
