A hole was melted in the exterior of an Instant Pot Rio Wide Plus. Can see through to the interior pot, and the controls are not affected. Can this hole be repaired?

You would have to wonder why the case melted at that point, presumably because it got too hot e.g. element touching case when it shouldn't perhaps.
How old is the cooker?
Asking because there's a 12 month warranty on the product.
If it's still within the warranty period, get it replaced by the manufacturer.
Post an image showing the problem, in your question as this may help to get a relevant answer as to what could be done, after finding out why the hole got there in the first place, that is.
