Will LCD from a 1 GHz Titanium work in my 550 MHz?

Just what the title says. I've researched the models and their native resolutions are not the same. Still, I have to ask the question. Are they interchangeable?

It works… but the resolution doesn’t get all used. I’m trying to hack MacOS with SwitchResX or something else to override the display settings. I’ll let you know if I can get it figured out.
