My phone will not hold a charge

Basic Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check Battery Usage:

Go to your phone's settings, find the battery section, and look for "Battery Usage" or similar. This will show you which apps are consuming the most power.

2. Manage Background Apps:

Disable background activity for apps that don't need it. You can usually find this option in the app's settings or within the battery usage section.

3. Reduce Screen Brightness:

Lower the screen brightness or enable adaptive brightness, which adjusts brightness based on ambient light.

4. Disable Unnecessary Features:

Turn off features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and location services when not needed.

5. Update Software:

Make sure your phone's operating system and apps are up to date.

6. Enable Battery Saver Mode:

Most phones have a battery saver mode that reduces performance and limits background activity to conserve power.

Repair Troubleshooting Steps:

if you aren't experienced with cellphone repair a local repair shop can provide this repair as a service. This model has very little repair information; therefore, the repair will be more difficult than battery repalcments for more common devices.

7. Consider a New Battery:

If your phone is old and the battery is degrading, a replacement battery might be necessary.

• You'll need one of the following heat gun, heat mat, a hair dryer, or ***iopener*** tool to loosen the back cover adhesive
  • Optionally, you can also use The iFixit Adhesive Remover
  • And lastly, you will need a replacement adhesive. Always use the OEM adhesive seals when available; however, this model is uncommon, and replacement parts aren't stocked by major suppliers
  • i recommend using Tesa 61395 Tape for the back cover seal

8. Avoid Extreme Temperatures:

Keep your phone away from excessive heat or cold.

10. Use a Reliable Charger:

Ensure your charger is working correctly and is the right one for your phone; not all chargers are built equally.
