If so, the cost is only going to be whatever price you find for a battery; my somewhat cursory search (using the search string "xiaomi redmi 5 plus battery replacement") shows available batteries going anywhere from $5 to $20 USD. Guides to show you step by step instructions are also available online; here's one that I would recommend.
