On p.80 of the service manual it shows that a 3:6 error code is caused by a Flash corruption detected by SBIOS and the fix is to replace the systemboard.
Try the following procedure to try and reset the BIOS and check if it resolves the problem.
- Turn on the laptop and wait for Dell logo to appear
- Press and hold the power button down for 35+ seconds until you see the power light flash 3 times.
Hopefully it will start and boot OK the next time the laptop is turned on.
If not, repeat the last step, download the latest BIOS to a USB Fat32 drive, switch on, keep tapping F12 then update the BIOS from the USB drive.
