Hi All. I have solved this problem. Turn off laptop, disconnect him from power supply, keep CTRL and ESC together connect power and when DELL logo appears release CTRL and ESC but first on USB drive formated to FAT32 upload BIOS_IMG.RCV dowonloaded from dell.com/support then chose recover from USB and do what is writed on screen

Hi @tomaszsikora

On p.80 of the service manual it shows that a 3:6 error code is caused by a Flash corruption detected by SBIOS and the fix is to replace the systemboard.

Try the following procedure to try and reset the BIOS and check if it resolves the problem.

  • Turn on the laptop and wait for Dell logo to appear
  • Press and hold the power button down for 35+ seconds until you see the power light flash 3 times.

Hopefully it will start and boot OK the next time the laptop is turned on.

If not, repeat the last step, download the latest BIOS to a USB Fat32 drive, switch on, keep tapping F12 then update the BIOS from the USB drive.
