S20FE Fingerprint Sensor Requires Calibration
I recently replaced the display on a S20FE (model number SM-G780F/DS running Android 13 OneUI Version 5.1) and upon installing the new display and testing its functionalities the fingerprint sensor requires calibration. I have tried the obvious steps such as a factory reset via settings and a reset via volume up and power button but to no success. I have also tried installing the samsung self repair software but got the message my phone was not supported (I also tried changing the date and time as this was suggested in a similar guide but had no success). Have also dialed the code in the dialer to check if the fingerprint scanner works and all tests pass it just says it needs calibration. I was wondering if anyone has any solutions to this problem or if the device is likely to old and won't get self repair support in the future. Thanks
