Frigidaire GRQC2255BF01 exterior freezer lights will not turn off

Last night I went into my bottom drawer freezer. When I closed the door the exterior lights above both my bottom freezer doors are staying on. I verified the doors are closed and sealed. I could not find any switch on the doors that turns the exterior lights on/off.

Try the following procedure to turn the lights off and on:

  • Press and hold the "light" icon in the lower right corner of the control display panel for 5 seconds to turn the lights off.
  • To turn them on again, press and hold the "light" icon for 2 seconds
