I cannot connect Wi-Fi

When first of all when I was using window 10 I can connect to Wi-Fi on my PC by when I come down to Windows 7 I cannot now connect to my Wi-Fi on but when I tried the trending Wi-Fi option in phone through hotspot it work but it does not connect from its on setting
