I wanted to make this laptop run faster so I'm hoping I can get an answer or even a suggestion of where to buy more ram in general.

@zaekelly the HP 15-db0011dx only has one memory slot. Factory standard on this is 4GB but you can upgrade to 8GB (according to the factory manual) That does not mean you could not try a 16GB stick and see if your firmware recognizes it. Something like this will definitely work for your computer.

@zaekelly what is the exact model number for your computer? Without knowing what model you actually own, everything will be a guess.

15-db0011dx is the model number (I think because that's on the bottom of the laptop)
