Hi I have a Sony Professional MDR-7510 Headphone and the Right earpiece is not working. I do note that when I push the cable into the actual headphone, it works does anyone know how to fix this?

The issue may be due to loose or damaged cables, broken wires, worn cable connectors, or damaged internal wiring. check the cable plug and socket, test with a compatible cable, inspect internal wiring, and replace the cable or repair the connection.

Just had this happen to my headphones. Start with taking a picture inside the earpiece so you know where to solder which color wire. I found that the strain relief inside the headphones caused the wire to break. Had to take the headset apart and cut off the broken part ( about 3 inches . You need to strip the cut wire and tin the colored enameled wire by applying heat with a solder iron till the new wire is tined. It takes some time for the coating to come off.
Re terminate the wires per the manufactures color code by soldering to the left channel earpiece. My had the right channel not working the junction is in the left earpiece where the cable comes in.

The headphone cable or plug may have a loose connection or broken wire near the headphone jack.
The internal wiring to the right driver might be loose or damaged.
The plug or socket might be dirty or oxidized.
