Why Do I have to put preasure on the screen?

I have to put pressure on the screen for the pixels not to be super dim to the point of barely being seen.

Which part of the screen are you putting pressure on?

Most of the time screen issues are due to the ribbon cable degrading. It will likely only get worse with time and there's no permanent fix.

iFixit does have a guide to reflowing the solder on the ribbon cable that's probably no longer making good contact. It appears to require a heat gun for the top cable, but the bottom one can be done with a soldering iron.
