Out of the blue my steam deck has decided to not boot up when I turn it on for whatever reason. When I press the power button to turn it on, the light pulses, but the screen does not turn on. The fans also start blowing very loudly on and off. No idea what's happening here, any suggestions to properly troubleshoot this?

Note to anyone who might stumble on this. What I ended up doing was let it run itself out of battery with the fans turning on and off. Once it was all out, I plugged it in, and that seemed to do the trick! Not sure exactly what the cause of the issue was, but I guess that's something to try if you have a similar problem.

You say the screen turns on? (or did I misread that). What shows on the display?

Sorry, that was a typo. No the screen does not turn on unfortunately. Connecting to an external display doesn't do anything either.
