Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the second-generation Apple Watch SE, released September 2022.

Cracked screen and won’t power on

My Apple Watch was damaged when I was involved in a car accident, before the accident I saw the time and functioned as usual ,had no damage prior whatsoever, after the accident the screen is cracked with even the glass coming off a little bit as well as it won’t turn on no matter what. Even if I’ve had it on the charger for up to 24 hours; so how would I fix the screen as well as see if the battery is damaged or just needs to be replaced entirely?

Sorry to hear of your car accident! I hope you are on the mend. As for your watch are you even able to see it from within your iPhone? While one can replace the crystal and display assembly, anything more may end up costing more that the watch. Look at local used market to see what you can find there so you have an idea what is possible used. If you buy used make sure you pay with a credit card that offers buyer protection like American Express.

We don'y]T have any guides for your exact watch but all of the original Apple Watches use the same method of entry by prying off the crystal assembly.
