Why is my Whirlpool washer constantly draining?

I have a Whirlpool WTW4816FW3 top loading washer that keeps draining when it’s not on. It happens with no lights on the control panel on and it does it constantly. When it’s not on it sounds like it’s running.

When I unplug it stops, but as soon as I plug it back in it immediately starts to drain again.

Serial number is CD3801342. Bought less than a year ago in October or September 2024 I think.

If it is <12 months old, contact the manufacturer's service centre in your location and request a manufacturer's warranty repair to fix the problem.

Don't try to fix it yourself as this will void the warranty.
