Bluetooth antenna still in not functioning after replacement

I just replaced my Bluetooth antenna after breaking the old one during a battery replacement (fun whack a mole) and it’s still acting the same, as I’m not connecting to wifi or Bluetooth unless it’s right next to the device/ router. Is there anything I’m missing here in terms of connecting everything? The instructions don’t mention anything other than where to put it and I can’t trouble shoot if I don’t know what I’m looking at

Yeah for example you didn’t say exactly which antenna you broke, since sells call almost all antennas they don’t know what for “Bluetooth antennas”, just saying “Bluetooth antenna” means nothing.

The part is literally called the "bluetooth antenna". When it broke my bluetooth stopped working. I don't know how to be more specific than that.

It's in the top left corner of the device. It has an "S" shape. I'm not sure if it just sits there or if you need to make sure it connects to something. The instructions don't specify.

Yes that part. Wifi and bluetooth both only work if the phone is put next to the device (router, speaker etc). This was the problem I had before, and it turned out the antenna was damaged. I just replaced it using the instructions here and it's still the same problem, neither better nor worse. I'm trying to find out if there was a specific way to connect it or what to look for.

@patricka84605 You just flip the board over and connect. If a known good part doesn’t work after connecting correctly, it’s not that part causing problems.
