Modern phones bond the LCD and digitizer to the front glass. Separating them generally requires using a vacuum table to hold down the display while you use a fine wire to separate the glass. Following that you'll need to clean the old adhesive completely then add a layer of optically clear adhesive (OCA) between the new glass and the LCD. Put the assembly into a vacuum chamber to remove the air bubbles, then into a UV chamber to cure the OCA.
Kind of a lot of trouble and adhesive, assuming you can even find the front glass; that may or may not be available for you particular phone. I would suggest just replacing the complete screen assembly; a quick search online shows some inexpensive screens selling for anywhere from $15 to $30 USD. Here are a couple of the cheaper examples I ran across with just a cursory search.
I wasn't able to locate a written guide like iFixit provides, but there are YouTube videos available, such as this one.
