Hi @windowslover124
Have you checked that there's 20V DC on the output plug of the adapter?
Does the laptop indicate that the battery is being charged? Not sure from your question whether it is showing that the battery is being charged although the battery isn't being charged or whether it doesn't show that it is.
What OS is installed in the laptop?
If Windows is installed, create a battery report just to see if it matches what Linux shows. Check the Design capacity values versus the Full Charge values shown in the report.
The laptop doesn't indicate that the battery is being charged:
It could be a faulty DC-In jack (example only), a problem on the motherboard or a faulty battery.
You would need to open the laptop so that they can be tested to find out where and what the problem is.
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop, that will help with gaining access etc.
The laptop does indicate that the battery is charging:
If the correct charging voltage is getting to the battery OK then most likely the battery has failed and will need to be replaced. Search online for 5B10L68713 to find suppliers that suit you best. The manual details how to replace the battery.
If no charging voltage is getting to the battery, you will need the schematics to find what the problem is. There's this link where you have to sign up to download it and this link where it can be purchased
