Why am I having this problem?

2018 GMC Acadia Denali V6 vvt

Transmission or sensors, don’t know.

When I put my car in drive, there’s no rolling motion, when I release the brake. Have to really step on the gas to get it moving, if I barely step on the gas it doesn’t want to move. Haven’t driven it, ever since started doing it. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

You're not giving us much to go on here. For specific repair information we need to know the year, model, engine and transmission of your GMC car. Please edit your question to add that information; otherwise all we can do is give you generic guesses.

Here's my nonspecific speculation: I've seen a similar problem with a VW New Beetle when it was low on transmission fluid; the problem went away when I topped it up. Have you checked the fluid level? And no, I can't tell you how to do that without the information I asked for previously.

It’s 2018 GMC Acadia Denali V6 VVT.

I checked the transmission fluid and it was okay. My best guess is a sensor or actually the transmission. I don’t want to take it in and spend thousands, unless I have to.
