The PS Button does not work at all.

the PS Button doesn’t work. All the other buttons do. Everything else in the controller works , except the ps button. I have tried to clean the contact with isopropyl alcohol but to no avail. The wire on the whatever it is called thing that contacts with the buttons has a very minor scratch at one of the flat wires. It’s not too noticeable nor that bad. But it could be the cause of it, if so please tell me what I could do or how I can replace it.

Well, I would replace the ribbon cable.

You have tried cleaning it, and if this fails, replacing the button circuit membrane is a nice next step to do!

Hi sorry for not responding earlier, I would also like to note that all the other buttons have their ribbon cable pattern on them , but not rhe PS button. Could be the issue tbh at the membrane isn’t properly pressing or doing the right thing with the circuit, I’ll try to find a way to test the connection if possible and if I can find out how. But also the guide you gave me is for the earlier model: the ZCT1 and not the ZCT2. sorry if this message is useless or like confusing I have no clue what I should be saying.

Hi!

Well, did you replaced the membrane earlier? Because, if the wrong membrane is used, you could have the issue you are describing. You need the exact same model als the original one. The process for the ZCT1 en ZCT2 are the same (regarding replacing it, not model wise). If you are not sure if you have the correct one, please sent us some pictures regarding the original membrane that is in there, or belonged in there. Thanks!
