Intermittent power button issue after battery replacement

I recently purchased the battery replacement for the switch from ifixit and did the battery swap. I am just finishing the calibration now but I am having a weird issue I can't figure out. The power button on the unit is now only responding intermittently. The volume buttons work all the time though.

Things I have tried

Opened the console back up and pulled the power buttons out and cleaned the board

Holding the power button for 20 seconds, waiting 20 seconds and turning back on

Not sure if there is anything else I can try before ordering the new power button cable.

I wanted to post an update. It was very odd but recalibrating the new battery did it.

I charged to 100% and then left on charger for 2 additional hours. Then ran the battery out until the switch turned off. Then charge to 100% again. Now it's working every time.

Hi!

Can you share a picture with us regarding the power button and it's cable?

It's possible that the power/volume button ribbon cable is damaged during the repair.

I would just replace this one for a new one and see how that goes. They are not that expensive and worth the try.
