Door is not closing tight

Is the freezer level in all directions i.e. front to back and side to side?

• Check if the door seals are all OK.

Place a sheet of paper between the door and the door jamb and with the door closed normally, i.e. no pressure by you on it to keep it closed, try pulling the paper out. It will come out with a bit of an effort but not easily and it shouldn't fall out by itself. Try this at various places around the door, top, bottom and both sides.

If it does come out too easily, check the seals are not bent or broken and that the door is straight and parallel to the cabinet just in case it's a problem with the hinge.

If the seal needs replacing, search online for 5304534456 to find suppliers that suit you best.

• Check if the freezer light turns off when the door is closed. To prove that the door switch is OK it may be better to initially place a mobile phone in video mode inside the freezer and take a short video of the inside when the door is closed. This way you are not touching the door switch to close it, simulating the door closing the switch, just in case it needs adjustment rather than it being faulty. It is the door switch that signals the control board whether the door is open or not and this controls the fan inside the freezer i.e. fan is off when door is open, fan is on when door is shut (as long as compressor is also running). If the switch is faulty, search online for 5304524331 to find suppliers that suit you best.
