Pixel 7a, is ifixit battery replacement kit safe?

Google has acknowledged that early units of Pixel 7a have known battery issues.

I did repair mine (in 2025) with the ifixit battery replacement kit (france) : Google Pixel 7a Battery - Genuine

Is the battery provided by ifixit also impacted by the issue ? or not ?
