Well,I personally have been repairing cellphones, tablets and electronics for 10 years or more now and the one thing I know is that the adhesive on the battery in cellphones is a demon that puts up one hell of a fight my friend.yiu should not really do this to get the battery out,I have done this myself..if you used something like a thick credit card or something like that to help pry the battery out due to the insanely sticky devil adhesive, you are also pushing on the backside of the LCD/screen whatever you want to call it. If not extremely careful you will definitely damage your LCD... Everything will still work except for your display. Your display may flicker or go White or whatever it does,it's just not correct and it's obvious, kinda like a cellphone that mysteriously stops having a functional display overnight... Im just messing with you. It only takes a little bit of pressure on a LCD to damage it. Do check your connections though could be a ribbon cable that you didn't close the lock on or another connection somewhere along the path of repairing the cellphone. But if you did happen to accidentally apply pressure to get the old battery out im going to say start there and be done with it. Good luck my friend, you got this. Never give up, never surrender, keep pushing forward!!!
Also I like to tell people this, byou might as well try to repair it,I mean it's already broken what's it going to get More broken??? Really?? Get out of here..
