changed to whole joystick component but I still have stick drift

Hi Everyone, my controller had back stick drift so I bought a brand new joystick and replaced the full thing rather the potentiometer but, when i plugged it back in to test it its pulling way over to the left side a lot worse than it was before. any one any ideas? have i ruined the board when soldering or does anyone have any ideas i could try?

Hi!

Most of the time a solder pad OR trace is damaged and causing the drift.

Please check them or share some pictures with us, so we can check as well.

Did you replaced them for the Hall Effect ones?
