Phones loosing power as it travels through the phone.
My phone isn't charging and i checked it with a multimeter and it is taking in 5 volts but by the time it makes it to the ribbon cable its only about 0.7 and the electric symbol when its charging shows up once every few hours but its not actually charging. if it helps i had recently just replaced the screen as it was broke and when i was done it was at 0 precent charge but it turned on and the screen was working fine but now its dead and wont charge.

When you replaced the screen, did you do the screen only method, or did you replace the complete screen+frame assembly?
Have you double-checked the interconnect cable that goes between the charging port daughter card and the motherboard?

@dadibrokeit I completely replaced the screen and i have checked connections its not working i have ordered a new ribbon cable for it so just waiting for it to arrive to see if it works.

@josephtennyson Sorry, I'm still not clear on exactly what was replaced. The repair procedure is completely different if you're replacing the screen by itself vs. the screen+midframe assembly where you buy the screen already attached to the midframe.
Knowing which replacement you did tells us what parts would have been affected by the screen change.
