Evoluent wireless mouse suddenly stopped working

I inserted a new battery turned the power button on and off several times and cannot get the cursor to respond on the computer, which is an iMac. I am at this point helpless to do anything on my computer as mouse isn’t working. Can anybody help me with either getting this mouse to work or work around to get the computer working Thank you

Evoluent has a support page with instructions on installing the mouse; it sounds like you may have to go through that procedure again.

Support

Of course, the fact that you need a mouse in order to install the mouse complicates things, doesn't it? At this point I'd say your best bet is to see if you can pick up a wired usb mouse that will allow you to go through the installation procedure; depending where you are it shouldn't be hard to find one for under, say, $5 USD. Thrift stores are a great resource; they always have older computer equipment available for dirt cheap prices.

From my reading of the support page, it appears you may have to reconnect the bluetooth connection on the computer, which of course you can't do without a mouse. Based on what you've said and what I saw on the Evoluent page that's the most likely scenario I can see.
